Rahdia Gleis, C.C.N. interviews,  Dr Ron Manzanero, M.D. about chelation, heavy metals and heart disease.

This is one of the more informative videos I've seen about how heavy metals like lead affect the arteries and cardiovascular system.

Some of the points covered include:
  • What is chelation?
  • Is chelation safe?
  • What are some natrual and prescription chelators?
  • Lead stored in the bones can be released into the body, especially in osteoperosis.
  • What is the FDA drug of choice for lead toxicity?
  • How do we accumulate toxic metals over a lifetime?
I've done chelation with EDTA, as well as DMPS. It's no fun sitting in the doctors office with an IV tube stuck in your arm. The even more painful part is paying the bill. Many treatments are needed, depending on the person, and you never really get all the toxic metals out. Nowadays I like to use a liquid zeolite product for chelation. Works much better for me.
